How to update Dynaway Software
- Download two packages from LCS. First (1) package content D365 models. Second (2) content Dynaway Web Client:
- Deploy deployable package (1) on Dynamics 365 F&O environment.
- Open the mobile webapp client package (2).
- Verify the web.config file for Work Execution/Mobile and Planning Board client, and update it with the correct values:
- Upload all (unzipped) files on an FTP server. /work directory contains work execution app files, /plan for planning board:
- Go to a D365 environment and proceed with the after-update steps. The module name for Enterprise Asset management is "Mobility". for "Asset management" -> "Dynaway mobile":
a) Dynaway module -> Setup -> Handler setup -> open and close it
b) Dynaway module -> Setup -> Entity setup -> select all entities and click "Enable:
c) Dynaway module -> Periodic -> Entity initialization -> Run Batch Job.
Entity initialization should be set as a recurring batch job every week.
