I get an error "Entity initialization is active or has failed" when clicking on an URL to Dynaway Mobile for Asset Management

Entity initialization

Please follow the steps below to address the issue. 

  1. In D365FO navigate to 'Mobility' > 'Periodic' > 'Entity initialization'
  2. Toggle 'Force' to 'Yes'
  3. Click 'OK'
  4. Click on the URL to access Dynaway Mobile for Asset Management. 

Note:

Once the initialization is complete the following message appears in D365FO Action Center (example). 

Please note that 'Entity initialization' can run in the background and that you can add 'Recurrence' and 'Alerts'.
