      Activate license in D365 F&O License configuration

      To activate license in D365 F&O License configuration

      Start by entering F&O in maintenance mode.

      Remote desktop (RDP) into Server hosting F&O

      Open CMD and enter F&O maintenance mode (Here with a script)

      Turn on maintenance mode:

      K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin\Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.Deployment.Setup.exe --metadatadir K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory --bindir K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin --sqlserver . --sqldatabase axdb --sqluser axdbadmin --sqlpwd [Paste password] --setupmode maintenancemode --isinmaintenancemode true

      Reset IIS on the server (Here with a script)

      Now enter

      1. F&O
      2. Select System administration
      3. Select License configuration

      On the License config site

      1. Select the License to activated, Click Save


      Back to Server Remote desktop for F&O server

      Open CMD and Exit F&O maintenance mode (Here with a script)

      Turn off maintenance mode:

      K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin\Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.Deployment.Setup.exe --metadatadir K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory --bindir K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin --sqlserver . --sqldatabase axdb --sqluser axdbadmin --sqlpwd [Paste password] --setupmode maintenancemode --isinmaintenancemode false

      Reset IIS on the server (Here with a script)
